“Our college is committed to identifying barriers to student success amongst all sectors, to implement intervention and engagement programs and efforts that have been successful at other institutions and which have merit at TJC, then use data reflecting the benefits of those programs as we evaluate our efforts to produce more completers. The goal is completion of a certificate or degree, and we are making strides in encouraging students to set goals and to access the resources available to help them achieve those goals.”
–Dr. Michael Metke, President, Tyler Junior College
