The Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiative has allowed the College to form teams to review current processes through data collection and analysis, and to then offer recommendations for improvement based on that data. A cross section of full- and part-time faculty and staff make up the teams. Formal reports are written and presentations are made to the ATD Expanded Bridge Team. Follow-up and final reports are made by the teams on the approved recommendations. Changes to policies that directly affect all students and their progress through college include Financial Aid, Registration, Course Scheduling, Graduation Process, Part Time Student Enrollment, and Part Time Student Retention. Real, data-driven changes have resulted from this intervention. The 2014 academic year was a whirlwind with a change in top administration, so, although the College did not initiate any CPI groups during the 2014/2015 year, we are hopeful that with our new president, CPI teams will be formed in fall 2015 and spring 2016.
