Arrowhead Park Early College High School

New Mexico’s first Early College High School & Medical Academy (APECHS & APMA) is a partnership with Las Cruces Public Schools, DACC, NMSU, and the Bridge of Southern NM. It is an innovative public-private partnership between the top leaders in business, economic development, government, and education that provides students who attend the opportunity to graduate from high school with a New Mexico high school  and up to two years of college courses or an associate’s degree from DACC. The school opened in July 2010, and by Fall 2016 DACC was serving 402 students. The school offers a small enrollment, creating fewer distractions for students simultaneously working toward high school and college associate’s degrees.

Since Spring 2014, 328 APECHS & APMA students have earned at least one associate’s degree from DACC and 381 have earned at least one certificate. One hundred fifty-eight of the students have transferred to New Mexico State University, and 18 have earned their Bachelor's from NMSU.
