Stephanie Marshall is the Director of Meetings and Learning Events at Achieving the Dream. In this role, Stephanie is responsible for the development, planning, and overall operational execution of the annual Achieving the Dream Institute (DREAM) which registers more than 1600 participants, annual retreats for Achieving the Dream Coaches, an annual New Cohort Kickoff Institute, Achieving the Dream’s Board of Director meetings, and other meetings and events as needed.
Stephanie brings to this role more than 20 years of experience planning professional meetings and events, as well as distinctions as a Certified Meeting Professional and Certified Association Executive. Prior to joining Achieving the Dream, Stephanie was the Director of Meeting Services at the American Council on Education (ACE) where she planned their Annual Meeting of 1,700 attendees and managed the coordination of 45 meetings each year. She also served as Executive Secretary to the Washington Higher Education Secretariat planning monthly programs.
Currently, Stephanie is a Board Member of the National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners and president of the United States Tennis Association/DC District. Stephanie has served on numerous advisory boards including LA INC—The Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau, InterContinental Hotels, the Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Grand Rapids Convention and Visitors Bureau. For ten years she held the role of Chair of the National Center for Higher Education Meeting Planners. Stephanie was inducted into the 2005-2006 Class of the American Society of Association Executives Diversity Executive Leadership Program Scholars.
Education Background: Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Temple University.
