Andrew Pepito is currently the Vice President for Finance and Operations at Achieving the Dream, Inc. In this capacity, he is responsible for developing and overseeing ATD’s operational capacities around finance, human resources and information technology and operations to better serve the staff and its network of colleges, partners and supporters.
Andrew has more than 20 years of experience leading financial and business operations for large and diverse for profit and nonprofit industries with domestic and worldwide operations in the areas of corporate development, accounting, financial reporting, business planning and general operations. Most recently he was President/Owner and Principal for JMQ Quest, Inc. operating a national franchise and providing strategic consulting services to start-up businesses. He served as Sr. Director of Finance and Information Services at The Bainum Family Foundation, a $500+ million private operating Foundation whose mission is providing wraparound support and educational services to underserved children across the country so they can graduate from high school. He was Chief Financial Officer and Worldwide Director of Finance for Drug Information Association (DIA), an international nonprofit organization whose mission is facilitating, advocating and advancing drug development and medicines worldwide, where he led its financial operations in six countries. He served as Vice President for Finance and Operations at the U.S. Grains Council, an international development organization with programs in more than thirty five countries, where he directed worldwide operations in eleven countries. Andrew also served at Health Net, a Fortune 500 health care company with revenue in excess of $14 billion, where he directed the budgeting and forecasting of more than $500 million corporate SG&A across one hundred cost centers. His early career was spent working with companies in the financial services, travel and recreation and international marketing space.
Andrew has an MBA in Business Management and Finance from Pepperdine University and a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California. As part of his training, he worked with Price Waterhouse in the England as a recipient of an international traineeship program and has completed graduate-level risk and investments training program at Stanford’s Center for Professional Development.
