Meredith Archer Hatch is the Senior Associate Director for Workforce and Academic Alignment at Achieving the Dream, Inc. In this role, Meredith is responsible for leading Achieving the Dream’s workforce development initiatives and creating services and tools to help colleges better align the work of their academic and career development units in order to achieve greater equity and better outcomes for students. She collaborates with staff across the organization and across sectors to align Achieving the Dream's overall institutional change programming, knowledge development, policy, and public engagement efforts with growing emphasis on academic and workforce alignment. Previously Meredith served as Associate Director of Programs and Policy where she managed Achieving the Dream’s policy portfolio, supported the institutional change work at the Achieving the Dream colleges and institutions, and was responsible for the analysis and synthesis of lessons learned across the Achieving the Dream network.
Prior to her role with Achieving the Dream, Inc., Meredith was a Program Coordinator for Knowledge Management at the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS); an Evaluation Consultant at the School of Government at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; a Literacy Resource Manager for the Student Coalition for Action in Literacy Education (SCALE) and a Graduate Program Assistant and Advising Assistant in the Study Abroad Office at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Meredith is a weekly volunteer for at the Northern Virginia Literacy Council and was an invited speaker to the United States Embassy in Slovenia in 2011.
Educational Background: Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
