MaryAnn Janosik currently serves as provost at Harper College in Chicago. Prior to her 2020 appointment at Harper, she was interim special assistant to the provost for student success at Excelsior College and interim vice president for academic affairs at Hudson Valley Community College, both in the greater Albany, NY region. She was also the head of school at Stanford University’s Online High SchoolHer professional career began teaching secondary social studies, including AP US History, the American Experience, and American Government. She was a tenured faculty member at both high school and college levels and has held rank as a Professor of History.
A first-generation college student, Dr. Janosik has always believed in the transformative power of education and the belief that education can open doors and opportunities for all who have access.
