How has education changed your life/your family?

My grandmother and her four sisters all attended college during the 1940s and 1950s. They were my role models regarding what women could achieve through education and were a guiding force on my career journey. They were relegated to home economics, teaching and nursing and I have been able to achieve that which they were not allowed to pursue.
