Included among them are one Tribal College and University student and one student from a Gateway to College program, which merged with ATD in 2019.
The Scholars, chosen from an impressive pool of applicants, will participate in ATD’s 2021 DREAM Scholars program which provides tailored leadership development and networking opportunities. Each Scholar will present at DREAM 2021, lending their voice and perspective to an audience of nearly 3,000 community college educators, administrators, and leaders.
The 2021 DREAM Student Scholars are:
- Jasminh Au — Gateway to College at Laney College (CA)
- Sarah Cuevas — Triton College (IL)

- Pedro Moranchel — Hudson County Community College (NJ)

About DREAM Scholars:
Achieving the Dream’s DREAM Scholar program is an experiential learning opportunity for student leaders looking to make a difference on their campus and in their communities. In addition to the scholar’s learning experience, the program integrates dynamic student voices into Achieving the Dream’s annual DREAM conference. The DREAM Scholar program is funded by private gifts from ATD network members, ATD employees, coaches, Board members and partners and friends of ATD.
