About Coastal Pines Technical College

Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) was established July 1, 2014, from the merger of Altamaha Technical College (ATC) and Okefenokee Technical College (OTC). The college, a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), supports the workforce development needs of its communities and the lifelong learning needs of individuals. Student success drives the mission and culture, an organizational characteristic that ensures its status as the number one provider of technically trained employees in the region. Customized business and industry training, continuing education courses, and adult education opportunities are also provided to impact economic growth and sustain community partnerships. Former OTC President, Dr. Glenn Deibert, was named the first president of Coastal Pines Technical College and continues to provide leadership for the organization, which serves thirteen counties in Southeast Georgia.
