How has education changed your life/your family?

Education has been transformative in shaping my sense of purpose, opportunity, and direction. As a first-generation college student, it has expanded my understanding of what is possible and helped me move from community college to graduate study with a deeper commitment to supporting student success and equity in higher education. Through my academic and professional experiences, I have developed skills in research, collaboration, and systems-level thinking that allow me to contribute to meaningful institutional change. For my family, my educational journey has been a source of pride and a reminder of the value of persistence and continued growth.
