How has education changed your life/your family?
My mom, who is one of the people I admire most, spent much of her 20s and 30s completing postsecondary degrees while working full-time and raising three children with my dad. The determination and single-mindedness it took to realize her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher were not lost on me, even as my life path and career took their own detours. There are few things I value, or enjoy, more than learning something new (except maybe sharing it!), and I owe that to my family.
