Call for Session Proposals
Achieving the Dream is seeking proposals for 30-minute and 60-minute concurrent sessions to be presented at DREAM 2023, our 20th annual convening, taking place February 14–17 in Chicago, Illinois.
Proposals are due October 7, 2022.
DREAM is an annual convening that brings together leaders and practitioners from more than 300 colleges to exchange evidence-based strategies that transform higher education. As a presenter, you will have the opportunity to share your institution’s ideas, innovations, and success stories with thousands of your peers.Submit a Proposal
Sessions at DREAM 2023 will center around four key themes that represent opportunities to effect meaningful change on our campuses and in our communities:
to eliminate barriers and connect more community members to high-value educational opportunities at community colleges
to provide economic security for students and their families, particularly BIPOC, poverty-impacted, and other marginalized communities
to address inequities that prevent timely progress through college and connection to workforce and transfer opportunities
to catalyze more equitable and economically vibrant communities and drive shared prosperity
We seek proposals addressing one or more of these themes in two different concurrent session formats:
- 60-minute sessions that demonstrate successful strategy execution and provide strong evidence of substantive improvement in student and institutional outcomes
- 30-minute sessions that highlight new innovation but may not yet have evidence to support widespread adoption and scaling
Be part of our first in-person convening since 2020! Submit a proposal by October 7 to join the conversation at DREAM 2023.
