Rural students bring enormous talent, resilience, and commitment to their communities. We can learn from their experiences navigating college, but we also know they often face unique barriers to meeting basic needs, such as food, housing, transportation, and childcare barriers, which can directly impact academic success. This session will highlight effective strategies and partnerships for identifying and addressing these challenges, drawing on real-world examples from rural colleges and Tribal Colleges and Universities.
Join us to hear from institutional leaders who are doing this transformation work on their respective campuses and leave with practical ideas and resources to strengthen support systems and create equitable access to resources that help rural students thrive.
