Lone Star College (LSC), the largest institution of higher education in Texas, is nationally recognized, globally connected and locally focused. With 83,000 credit students and a total of more than 95,000 total students, LSC has remained steadfast in its commitment to student success and credential completion. Lone Star College is leading a statewide effort to significantly increase the successful completion rates of community college students, including hosting the inaugural Texas Completion Summit for educators and lawmakers to share ideals and solutions focused on degree completion. Currently leading the charge to improve completion rates, LSC is one of the only colleges in the nation to establish a formal Office of Completion and is the managing partner of Texas Completes, the statewide initiative that brings together eight Texas college systems to advance deep student success reform.
