About Nashville State Community College
Nashville State Community College is the comprehensive community college that serves the majority of the middle-Tennessee region. The college's service region encompasses 7 counties (Davidson, Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, and Stewart Counties), offers approximately 80 degree and technical certificate programs, and enrolls and approximately 8,900 undergraduate students. The college is among the most socioeconomically and racially/ethnically diverse in the state, as its communities stretch from the Nashville metropolitan area and suburbs to rural Humphreys County. In Fall 2017, approximately 45% of the student body were students of color and 57% of students attended part-time.
