About White Earth Tribal and Community College
Established in 1997 on the White Earth Reservation in NW Minnesota, White Earth Tribal and Community College (WETCC) is dedicated to academic excellence grounded in Anishinaabe culture, values, and traditions. As a small college in a rural area, WETCC believes learning is a life-long process of discovery of knowledge embedded in the intellectual disciplines and the traditions of the Anishinaabe people. WETCC supports self-determination through the preservation and promotion of Anishinaabe history, culture, and language while seeking to address the social, political, and economic needs of the White Earth Reservation.
