Charlie Parker currently serves as the vice president for learning and student success and the vice president for equity, innovation, and engagement at Pierce College District in Washington State. In his current role, he leads with anti-racism and anti-systems of oppression frameworks for the intended purpose of dismantling white supremacy in higher education.
Charlie has over 15 years of PK-12, Federal Government, and Higher Education experience focused on empowering racialized and historically marginalized people. As a natural systems thinker and designer, Charlie has proven his ability to radically envision a new higher education that centers on the most marginalized and vulnerable.
