Daryl Davis is the current assistant vice president of analytics and reporting for Valencia College. Through his tenure at Valencia College, he has acquired the knowledge and understanding of the Achieving the Dream model, being that Valencia has participated in ATD since 2004 and is now a Leader College in the network. In his current role as AVP, he is responsible for leading an Institutional Research and Data Warehouse office that provides data and insight to the college to help foster the building of a culture of evidence, and helping a multi-campus institution use data to make decisions.
Daryl has over 14 years of experience in higher education and institutional research, where he specializes in data visualization and the use of analytics and data to inform the institution’s decision-making. He is an active member of the national Association for Institutional Research (AIR). Daryl has presented at many local and national conferences on the subject of using analytical tools to display data.
