Dr. Miguel Ceja is a professor and chair of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at California State University, Northridge, and a data coach for Achieving the Dream since 2006. Over his tenure as a data coach, Miguel has worked with 10 colleges, including two Tribal Colleges and Universities.
Dr. Ceja teaches master- and doctoral-level courses in higher education policy and leadership, educational diversity, research design, and quantitative analysis. His research focuses on issues of access and equity in higher education for students of color, college choice, diversity and campus racial climate, and community college student success. His work has been published in the Journal of the Professoriate, the Harvard Education Review, the Journal of Hispanic Higher Education, the Journal of College Student Development, the Review of Higher Education, and the Journal of Negro Education.
