As a social psychologist, certified executive coach, and first-generation college student, Dr. Ondrus has dedicated herself to improving student success and driving organizational effectiveness. Her experience spans three higher education sectors and focuses on collaborative strategic planning, institutional effectiveness, and serving as a trusted partner to leaders as they engage with their boards, campus communities, and external partners.
Dr. Ondrus served 13 years at the City University of New York (CUNY), first leading institutional research at NYC College of Technology and later at CUNY’s system office where she conducted confidential 360-degree evaluations of presidents and led the university performance management process.
In Arizona, she held leadership roles at Maricopa County Community College District and University of Phoenix. As an adjunct faculty member at Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University, she guided graduate students as they designed their capstone research projects and explored modern issues in accreditation and higher education planning.
As an active member of the International Coaching Federation and the Humanitarian Coaching Network, Dr. Ondrus provides independent consulting and executive coaching to higher education leaders.
