How has education changed your life/your family?

Growing up poor in a family of seven, education changed the trajectory of the lives of everyone in my family, thanks to Pell Grants, scholarships, impactful relationships, and meaningful connections to people who believed in us along the way. My children have continued that legacy, one recently completing a doctorate degree and the other a Juris Doctorate, now continuing to shape deeply the lives of my grandchildren.
