Dew

As executive director of coaching practice at Achieving the Dream, Dr. Wendi Dew supports the ongoing development of ATD’s institutional coaching strategy to meet the evolving needs of Network colleges in their transformative change efforts to improve student outcomes. Wendi is responsible for the recruitment, management, and on-going development of ATD’s diverse team of coaches.

Prior to joining ATD, Wendi was the assistant vice president of academic affairs at Valencia College providing strategic oversight and leadership of a broad portfolio in academic affairs with a focus on equitable outcomes in access, completion, transfer and career-credential attainment. Wendi brings more than 20 years of broad experience in community college leadership. Her work has focused on building institutional capacity in teaching and learning, leading large-scale, strategic change initiatives to advance student outcomes, high impact faculty development, guided pathways, online learning, learning assessment, and program improvement across two-year associate of arts and career technical education programs. Wendi is also a leadership and teaching and learning coach for ATD colleges in multiple states.
