Janice Caldwell is the grants accountant for Achieving the Dream. Janice most recently worked with the Whitman-Walker Health Clinics and Institute in Washington, D.C., managing a $4.5 million grant portfolio consisting of federal direct, research and industry trials. Janice’s responsibilities included supervision of grant accountants, budget preparation, submission of financial reports, monthly invoicing, program manager updates, and supporting the A-133, SEFA audit process. Janice’s previous nonprofit experience includes grant manager/accountant for the National Congress of American Indians, where she was responsible for managing all federal and foundation awards, submission of applications, financial reports, and monthly meetings with project managers. Janice is the proud mother of a United States Air Force Technical Sergeant.
