How has education changed your life/your family?
I am a first-generation college graduate and while working towards my undergraduate degree was also a single mother. Education has exposed me to opportunities I had never imagined for myself, redirecting the trajectory of my life path. I am a firm believer that all things are possible through education, determination, and support. My legacy encompasses my educational journey, one that I am extremely proud of as I am setting an example and providing guidance for my children, family, and community.
