Keisha Jones is a dedicated advocate for student development and the success of all students, with 20 years of experience spanning both four-year and two-year institutions. Her career began in Division I athletics, and she later transitioned to broader student services roles. This shift brought her to the community college system, where she has worked diligently to make a lasting and positive impact on the institutions she serves.
Currently serving as the vice president of student affairs and the chief diversity officer at Davidson-Davie Community College, she provides leadership in all areas in student affairs (interest through graduation) and leads DEIB efforts on the Davidson-Davie campus. Beyond her work at Davidson-Davie, Keisha plays a critical role in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across all 58 community colleges in North Carolina. As the state director of inclusive excellence for the North Carolina Student Success Center, she leads equity coaches and acts as a consultant to colleges on DEIB matters. Keisha also provides professional development and serves as a vital resource in fostering inclusive excellence system-wide.
