How has education changed your life/your family?

My journey into higher education began in high school as part of the Upward Bound program. Before becoming part of that initiative, I was not interested in attending college. However, based on that pathway, I became more interested in going to college and furthering my educational pursuits. This bridge program prepared me to encounter the rigors of college work during high school. Without the support of many caring individuals who believed in me and my dreams of bettering not only myself but my family and community, I really do not know where my life journey would have taken me.
