How has education changed your life/your family?

I was a first-generation college student at the University of Iowa and the first in my family to graduate with a degree. Higher education (as a student and employee) has shaped my views of the world, helped me to achieve a solid career, and instilled in me a love of learning. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, and hearing their life stories.
