Yu Sun is a project manager for coaching at Achieving the Dream. In this role, she supports and coordinates a variety of essential functions for and between the coaching team and other units in ATD.
Prior to joining ATD, Yu worked as a research associate with the Chicago Health Disparities Center in partnership with the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she provided research and program support to community-based projects focused on addressing health disparities among minority groups. Prior to this project, Yu conducted research for the Mossier Social Action and Innovation Center for an economic empowerment project in Kampala, Uganda for the LGBTQ community. In this role, she conducted key informant interviews with individuals, grassroot organizations, and advocacy groups. Yu also has prior experience in the private sector in organizational operations and human resources.
